Awareness Programme (December 2023)
An awareness programme was organised at Vivekananda College, Madhyamgram. Students from different streams participated along with their teachers. Ms. Madhuparna Ghosh facilitated the session covering domestic violence, sexual harassment at the workplace, and the Indian Constitution's Fundamental Rights and Duties. She used video clippings and real-life examples, and informed participants about specific laws and complaint mechanisms.

Advocate Training on POCSO Act with DLSA, North 24 Parganas
On February 6, 2024, a training session was held at the ADR Hall, 4th Floor, DLSA, Barasat, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Attended by 65 advocates, the program was conducted by Ex-Justice Dr. Shyamal Gupta. The session provided valuable insights into the POCSO Act's legal provisions and its role in protecting children from sexual offenses.

Awareness Program with AMAN Network on Prevention of Child Marriage and Domestic Violence
Organized at Dariala Madhyamik Vidyalaya, North 24 Parganas. Guardians, gram panchayat representatives, local police, teachers, and para-legal volunteers of DLSA were present. Network member Smt. Swati Chatterjee spoke on child marriage's link to domestic violence. Adv. Abhijit Dutta explained why domestic violence is a violation of women's rights. Preventive strategies were discussed by Ms. Seema Sreeniwas and other participants.
